Image
On our 4-year #hike4birds across Canada on the 28,000 km long Trans Canada Trail , we have trekked just over 1900 km while crossing our 10 th province – British Columbia. En route we trekked through a number of stunning and welcoming communities such as Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie, Cranbrook, Kimberley, Nelson, Castlegar, Grand Forks, Rock Creek, Penticton, Princeton, Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Fort Langley, Burnaby, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Duncan, and Victoria! Of the course our time in BC we would cross through mountain passes, venture along historic waterways, and trek along amazing rail trails as we made our way to the Pacific Terminus in Victoria! Follow this link to see what our walk across British Columbia looked like, in 2 seconds per day. See you on the trail! Remember to follow our entire adventure here : www.comewalkwithus.online

Good news - our online store has now re-opened for the winter! This year we are once again offering sets of 6 Folded Note Cards featuring unique photos of birds, animals, and landscapes taken during the first 4 seasons of our #Hike4Birds across Canada on the Trans Canada Trail.   We hope to offer a new set in 2023 with the hope of raising funds for trekking to the Arctic.   The first 3 years on the Great Trail was funded through the sale of our house as we are unsupported and not sponsored. Our Hike4Birds is directed towards freely sharing Canada with Canadians, promoting youth engagement in nature and the conservation of Birds.   All proceeds go towards supporting our next season on the trail, and helping us reach out to more classrooms, youth groups, and nature clubs across Canada to inspire people to experience the many benefits of spending time
