Troubles Find us Again

A note to anyone following and wondering why we are not responding to messages or comments on our posts on Facebook and Instagram accounts.  Today we have been informed by Facebook that our posts about the Trans Canada Trail and exploring Canada "have content that violate their community policies" and are regarded as spam since they reach tens of thousands of people regularly.

Apparently there have been complaints by two specific organizations and a number of individuals that our posts and Come Walk With Us page should be shut down as "misrepresenting the Trans Canada Trail and the nation". 

As a result our Facebook account now only has limited options available excluding being able to share our blogs or pictures. At times we are - after review by Facebook - able to post some of our material but not respond. 

We have been informed by Facebook which organizations have placed this request and have no idea how to respond. In all honesty we are a little hurt and greatly disappointed.  Regardless we are continuing on and will still be releasing blogs and images through our own webpage - www.comewalkwithus.online.  

As always we believe and present Canada and the Trans Canada Trail as a great nation and a world class trail system. 

In our travels seen that Canadian greatness is the result of the dedication of local institutions, the hard work of local people, and the ingenuity of regional groups who are the heart and soul of the nation. Our communities and those who strive to improve them are essential to national achievements.  This is in many ways the Canadian Experience in its promise, beauty, its challenges, and fulfillment.

We hope that this situation is resolved soon and that we are able to keep actively engaged while sharing Canada with Canadians while trekking the world's longest recreational pathway, the Trans Canada Trail.
