Congratulations from NatureNL and Ontario Nature !

This week the Come Walk With Us expedition trekking 28,000 km on the Trans Canada Trail received a kind email of Support and Congratulations from Nature Newfoundland and Labrador!  In 2019, as we took our first steps on the Great Trail we were joined by a large group from NatureNL as well as local media.  Their support was wonderful in those early days when the challenges of the national pathway and the shear size of Canada stood in front of us.  NatureNL was also one of the first groups who we presented to (back in the days when our talk was much much shorter).

Warmed by the kindness of NatureNL's email and ongoing support we were doubly stunned when we received a wonderful Letter of Congratulations from Ontario Nature!

Graciously Ontario Nature noted their "appreciation for [our] leadership and dedication to promoting bird conservation across Canada ... [and our] ...  work connecting people to nature ... promoting the conservation of migratory birds". 

To be recognized by two of Canada's premier Nature and Conservation organizations for our efforts to inspire, educate and engage Canadians toward reconnecting them with nature is stunning!  

As we make our final preparations for 2023 your words and recognition are an amazing boost!
