Come Walk With Us on the Trans Canada Trail (TCT)

Tolkien   Being the “First” Many years ago now, just after we had finished our plans to hike the Great Trail and just before our house in Simcoe Ontario sold the intrepid and inspiring Dana Meise completed his hike along the Trans Canada Trail from the Atlantic to the Pacific to the Arctic in 2018.   His achievement marked the first time anyone had completed the national trail from coast to coast to coast.   While being the first to complete the TCT was never on our radar, the fact also remains that this achievement had already been completed even before we stepped outside our door or set foot on the path.     Around the same time another intrepid individual – Sarah Jackson – completed her Pacific to Atlantic trek making her the first woman to undertake the Trans Canada Trail from the Atlantic to th

Just to let everyone who was again kind enough and follow us on our second attempt at Facebook.     Over a month ago, effective June 14 th , 2023 our Facebook account was no longer accessible to us and many of our posts had begun to be removed and tagged as “infringing content”.     As of today (July 25th, 2023) we received an email that both our own Facebook accounts and the Come Walk With Us page are due to be deleted for "posting infringing content" and "misleading content".   No details have been given beyond this. All attempts to have the situation clarified have failed to garner a response.   We have only ever posted links to our hiking blog and photographs taken on Canada's great Trail and so we once again have no idea who has complained about either our images or commentary.     Beyond this we have been informed that all images and "references to organizations” "are the sole ownership of that organization and cannot be used by any
