The Wonder of Canada and the beauty of its Diversity

Today we are so honoured to have been able to share our #hike4birds across Canada on the CBC Manitoba as well as being featured by the Iranian-Canadian Magazine Atash

Since setting out in 2019 we have been featured in English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Punjabi, Arabic and now Persian!

Tonight, here in the beautiful community of Neepawa Manitoba we are sharing a few local beers brought to us by a local Asian-Canadian supporter of our Come Walk With Us trek made by Farmery Beer while chatting with our South Korean host about photographing Canada’s natural beauty and birds!  I love this country and its diversity!  Proud to be Canadian and privileged to be able to venture across the nation promoting the simple truth that nature, the outdoors, and Canada’s trails are for everyone.

Unfortunately, there is a perception that outdoor activities are something only to be enjoyed by a select few in special locations and at certain times.  We have been taught to think that nature is supposed to look a certain way, and that to be outdoors we have to look a certain way, or be a certain type of person. But this simply isn’t true.

Nature is not in one special place, and is not for one special person, nature is wherever someone is trying to find it...and it is for absolutely everyone.

The pursuit of nature and time outdoors is enough to make you a birder, an explorer, and an outdoors person....this is a point that we have been trying to emphasize in communities as we trek on the Trans Canada Trail.

This is Canada and it is for everyone!

See you on the trail!
